Strangest Diversion

Remember travelling to Paddington in the early 80s to catch a class 50 diverted over Bletchley Flyover on the Paddington - Manchester service. The event was plastered all over the departure board , flagged up as 'of note to rail enthusiasts' Not a diversion, but I remember , around the same...
