Nearly 2300 Tues 1S25 Still at Euston , been told loss of power on allocated loco 92033, think 92018 to be used from Wembley . Not sure if 92033 can move under its own power .
I saw a Channel 5 prog( Worlds Most Scenic Railways) this evening about the line from Inverness to Wick and Thurso. Some of the units featured were 158701 and 158720.
Obviously the program was made pre-covid , over several days using various 158s to make it seem 1 journey for TV.
Now looking...
The other Friday (15th) I caught 1M06 0800 Preston to Euston buying tickets on the day from machine at Preston. No need to reserve seats, plenty of space on train as I like a walk to see how well loaded the Pendos are . Looking at RT trains for todays 1M06 it does say '
reservations...
I see last nights 1S25 was terminated at Perth at 0703 today. A tweet says 'broken down train' Has anyone anymore info please ?

re #11333,im led to believe that GBRF who supply 92s for sleepers in and out of Euston are withdrawing all class 92s .Could use 66s as they do for portions to/from Edinburgh , we shall see !
There is a problem with 92010 due to haul 1S25 from Euston. That loco now detached , parked in spare platform as OS95
Replacement loco awaited from Wembley, so I am told.
FS did have problems leaving Carlisle, not sure if was part of the train . Plan was to detach it at Darlington and FS going on to Shildon

So who took it down , have you any more info please ? Its just that Railcam are not saying a lot, considering us supporters paid for it . Sometimes they that us with contempt, do not say a lot.

TODAYS Liverpool Echo webby still insists it wwas running from Knowsley to Liverpool. Basic research would show it was 2K48 from Liverpool to Kirkby arriving at 1854 . Merseyrail dont operate to /from Knowsley as its a FREIGHT terminal ...
