Do we know if it's been resolved then? I don't have any more tickets to print on this particular offer but I noticed a few other people do. My first journey like this isn't for a few weeks but I'll take the email confirmations with me just in case.

The actual ticket just says Single on it, and then Valid Only With Reservation (the corresponding information-less ticket has the appropriate cross reference). Like Sponge I've used this machine before (West Hampstead Thameslink) and these trains should have reservations. So it's a ticket...

I just printed off a pile of tickets bought in the recent VTWC seat sale, and for some, in place of the normal separate seat reservation, I have a second ticket marked SUPPLEMENT which has type SEAT and says for use on direction EITHER and validity AS ADVERTISED. I'm curious as it specifies date...
