Letter through today £82.30 fine, planning to take to court any input?

That side is the reading bound side not the side I had boarded on to get to work. At least I'm not being called out as a liar now

Attempted to buy a ticket from the blackwater machine but change the origin to sandhurst if I couldn't have done that then I'd have just walked off like any other person. I'm not gonna wait around 30 minutes and be late for work to wait for another train to come through and ask the conductor on...

Just tried to ring them and they aren't open, will ring them Monday and ask them what they have on there system and explain that there was no way of purchasing a ticket, ask to lower the fine to save everyone hassle and just pay it. I haven't done anything, and I will tell them that, against a...

Whenever else I'm on the train it's usually to reading which is a 20 minute train and I buy it on the train, they never have a problem with it since they know there's no ticket facilities

There used to be one, it was broken for a while and now I think it's gone (haven't cared to look tbh since I don't get on the platform that's reading bound) but there was a Machine on both sides at one point and one is now gone so I assumed the other was --- old post above --- --- new post below...

LOL I travel from this station trust me, I can know the station and its surroundings in great detail as I've traveled from there many times over the years. (Can't really be called a station, 2 little ramps each side with tiny platform and the smallest shelter with a little blue bench)

When looked at in black and white yes I effectively did say that but if you would have seen the manner and context it was said you would have known I was joking and had money in my hand ready to pay. Guess it's one of those things where it sounds worse than it was and just shouldn't have made...

See now I'm getting seen as a I liar. Check the first great western website and nation rail and you will see that there is no ways to buy tickets. It has red 'X' next to it.

There is no ticket machine. I've looked with my own eyes and they're were some but we're broke. I've looked on the first great western website and it says there aren't any ways at all of buying a ticket, same with national rail. Even on wiki it says 'As of 2014, the station has neither a ticket...

There is no ticket machines that WORK. I mentioned this to the guy who was dealing with me and his response was 'they get vandalised' and I said well that's not my problem I don't do it. Under these Penalty fares 2002 rules 7.3 An authorised collector must not charge a penalty fare under rule...

But why should I pay when I haven't had a chance too? It's not like I was being serious aswell I went to him all jokey and smiley not trying it on or anything? I don't see how I could lose that in court as fare evasion? What am I evading? Now if there was a ticket machine at sandhurst or I tried...

Alright fellas Basically I'll keep it short and sweet I was on a train on Friday 09 January from sandhurst to blackwater. The train station at sandhurst is unmanned and there is no ticket machine. The train is 3 minutes long and on the way to work at half 8 in the morning it is packed...
