In your opinions, how do the seats on 395s stack up against older intercity rolling stock like the HSTs and voyagers, or if (we can dream) the ECML was to be upgraded to 140 capability how far north could they get before people started complaining about achy backs?

If a TOC was to run an IET at 10 Carriages without joining up 2 5 car units has anyone any idea how long would it be? So you’d have just the 2 driving ends and 8 carriages cheers *Not sure if this should be in speculative ideas so move if needed.

So i recently got an EMR smart card (because why not) when i noticed it said you can use it to " purchase your season, off peak or anytime tickets" I always though smart cards could only be used for season tickets so does anyone know of any other TOCS that let you buy standard singles/returns...

wondering if anyone can help me out here but it’s a long shot, once you’ve took a photo on the H300 and go to the gallery but lets you zoom in and move the picture around but I can’t find a way to save the edited picture which is annoying. Does anyone know how to save the edited picture? Thanks

can anyone advise what the first class offering is like on weekday between Newark and Hull? Apparently the Hull Exec is part of the signature menu, yet in my experience they wind down the 1st offering after Doncaster

Today finally marked the first revenue service for LNERs 800s. So the question on everyone’s mind, are the seats that bad? I spent today on twitter looking up key words like “Azuma seat” and “LNER uncomfortable” and could find many bad comments so I’m assuming that they’ve improved the seats??

exactly what I was thinking, if some's ticket doesn't let them through and they end up breaking their neck whilst climbing over I image the TOC in question would have a rather large personal injury claim on their hands
