Hi danny, i had i was awaiting a start date but found out im colour blind and you cant have defective colour vision. Did the colour blind test they do on the medical and failed miserably! --- old post above --- --- new post below --- Im over it though, obvioulsy not meant to be!

Hi Art, i too attended the conductor assessment on the 24th April 2014, was you morning or afternoon? You heard anything since? Itching to get onto the training course!

Are they easy to do if you knuckle down and concentrate? Is there many people that fail the courses?

What assessments do you have to do on the conductor course? Is there a final assessment at the end what you need to pass? Knowing my luck i would get that far and end up failing that then be out of a job!

Its just frustrating thats all as i really want to get on and start! i can see it going passed the 6 months stage and me having to be reinterviewed, that would be just my luck! Does this mean that all the conductor courses have now been filled then?

Anybody else received an email today? i have just received an email to state that they have assessed the train crew requirement for the conductor places and there is no vacancies at Manchester at the minute....gutted guessing the dream is over!
