    ok thanks. Actually the carriages on the ECML are more comfortable than the First trains, which I think are a bit 'megabus' :D in comparison. However, XC seem to be quite nice. Anyway, the main crux of my thoughts was has privatisation and innovation lead to really cheap advance tickets...
