Has anyone got an updated list on the status's of the 142's, 143's & 144's which are still in storage or have now been sent for scrap.

Best thing they can do is send em to the scrappers ASAP. Sooner the better.

Fifteen is enough and the rest need turning into soup cans or razor blades. 143's are looking likely to be extinct seeing as the one that was being considered got damaged and only 3 operational 144's are being saved with a 4th becoming a static exhibit. Think there's enough saved now.

Im surprised that the spare donors 012, 079 & 086 haven't yet been sent off for scrap.

Also has anything been said about which organisations will be getting which class 144's. Platform 1 at Huddersfield Station, Fagley Primary School & Airedale NHS Trust.

Hopefully wont be too much longer till all of the 142's will be withdrawn from service as their time should almost be up. How many are presently in service with Northern.

I seriously doubt Network Rail would have any use for a pacer. It's likely to be some know it all making up a silly story.
