Just been to New street and realised that Phil has gone. The lady is the same but a birmingham accent has replaced Phil which is difficult to hear. Anybody know what's happened and why?

Pendolino 11 car went through BHM New Street today at 16.20.... it was heading wolverhampton bound...

Different things happening at New Street Station for the last few weeks - it now says "Birmingham New Street; This is Birmingham New Street" and the announcements don't seem to be broadcasted to all areas of the concourse -- just the platforms!! Did anybody else notice?

Any pics of interior / exterior out there?

Although I find the Pendolino experience fantastic - it can be crammped in rush hour but on XC Voyager it is far worse and I feel that XC don't maintain them as well as Virgin. In my experience Voyagers are far worse!!!

I think it might have caused some loco-hauled services to come back from April 06 until further notice - it was on a sign.

The service goes to Birmingham International where it terminates; and form the service to Holyhead or Aberystwyth.

London Midland stations across the West Midlands have got a new PIS and automated announcer - she sounds like Sarah or Celia (not sure which though) but the system is temperamental - sometimes the announcements occur sometimes they don't! Personally I like I Phil; At Virgin Stations it looks...
