Fantastic - so essentially any value remaining on a ticket, less admin fee, can be transferred to any other ticket?

Not really – main issue is that I'm now travelling with someone else who has to go on an EC service, so I don't have much choice on the service. (Probably the 1755 from York > London.) Issue is just whether my existing ticket has any value.
