I use the 9/9a every day for work. You're lucky if you can get a seat. Bus is usually crammed leaving the City and it is the same when you get on Southside (I get on at Cardonald).

I use the Paisley Canal line most mornings for my commute. Always preferred the 314s to the 380s. They seem lighter and more metro like. Also, I seldom get a seat on the train as I am travelling from Mosspark (2 stops till Central) and the 314s seem to have more space for standing.
As someone who regularly uses the buses in the Southside, I would love the 9 to get some decent stock for a change. I have stood more times on that bus than sat.
