Working passenger information displays on the eccles line tonight just on tram back to picc

I noticed this morning that most of the information displays on the stops on the Eccles line were turned on for the first time in months. Does this mean there has been some progress with TMS and these might be operational soon?

I saw another doubled up M5000 out this morning whilst waiting to get into deansgate castlefield. Only going as far as Victoria. I imagine it might then go back towards Piccadilly to avoid Mosley Street?

From last week there has been an extra picc - media city service in place. The eccles trams seem to be timed to leave picc 5 minutes later to accomodate this
