Looks like on the w/e 27&28 July & 3&4 Aug there is also a total closure of London Charing Cross / London Cannon Street / London Bridge (High level) with diversions to London Victoria or New cross terminators. Last one of this scale was during the London Bridge works.
During disruption I've been over the Sidcup & Crayford crossovers and also wrong line/direction moves between Sidcup & Crayford. The NorthKent controlled Signalling seems to allow it, albeit with no intermediate signals. Only once, during a embankment slip, been over the Lee one and that...
Is it in the Franchise contract to provide working on-train toilets? If it is, then what is the penalty if not? Then we get into the discussions of the merits of Concessions via Franchises contracts.
Think it's more to give the Sidcup line a service, than for that particular journey. There's enough RR Bus's that weekend as it is.
And maybe it will also give a good view of the Hither Green depot as well.
If you want an unusual bit a track, on the Mayday weekend due to Engineering work closing the Lewisham area services from Orpington run via the Lee Spur onto the Sidcup line then round the Woolwich/Greenwich line then via the RVL onto the Charing Cross lines.

The RAIB Interim report: Collision near London Waterloo station, has two stills from the forward facing CCTV. One showing the position of the switch rails, the other the aspect of the signal. So it certainly has it uses...
Looks like testing is scheduled for Sunday, as there are a few ECS STP paths to London Bridge Plt 7,8 & 9.

There are also two Thames Link over the core from Finsbury park to London...
From an operational point of view it looks to be all about reducing the conflicting moves across the Lewisham junction. All I can see that will go across the diamond, and also using the Tanners Hill fly down, is the 4 tph (+2tph in peaks) Charing Cross via Bexlyheath service.
Looks like some changes to Metro the service patterns, if I read the tables rights. eg Sidcup line :
4 tph 15 mins evenish, not Lewisham made of
2 tph London Charring Cross - Dartford (and maybe onward)
2 tph London Charring Cross - Crayford and then onto London Cannon st via Woolwich.
2 tph...

From : Thameslink’s 24tph introduction held over to 2019
"Speaking exclusively to RAIL on November 15, Chris Gibb, chairman of the Thameslink Programme Industry Readiness Board, said that as soon as drivers were trained, GTR services would be diverted via London Bridge from January instead of...
