Everything I belive is designed for you to pass with the correct attitude and self discipline you'll be okay. The couple of people I've seen fail wasn't about attitude was more about concentration levels.
Absolutely it's almost 4 years for me in the Railway was ex forces too so have always did some sort of fitness but to strike the balance between family life, driving a train and fitness is extremely difficult
Struggled for a long time trying to balance working in the Railway and having a family with 3 young kids however now at a point where I go to the gym 4-5 times a week I either go before my back shift, my days off or straight after the really early shifts. It can be done and you'll feel so much...
No need for any revision prior to starting training. Best bit of advice work/study hard and you'll be absolutely fine. Also keep a low profile if that makes sense they training school don't particularly like people with big egos who know it all. Good luck and well done
All tests and interviews process took 4 months from 1st set of tests to landing the job. My point is it's ludicrous to say it's pointless studying wether it's the first set of tests or anything to do with the recruitment to become a train driver.
Absolutely I can say I've probably never studied as hard to pass these tests. It's all I thought about for months and it ultimately helped me land my dream job. I've no idea what angle this guy is coming from, slagging trainees for panicking during training and not having natural ability is...
Silly question are you certain the application was for Trainee Driver as I'm sure other vacancies within Scotrail that conduct online tests. Good luck and hopefully it's resolved soon
My application was completed during a nightshift littered with mistakes I even had my DOB as the date I completed the application form. I would imagine buzz words must be key otherwise mine wouldn't have passed the initial sift
