Pre paid RTN on the phone tickets from Harold Wood to Rayleigh Saturday evening for 2 cost £27.20, barriers opened at Harold Wood and no barriers or staff at Rayleigh, phone never left my pocket. Would have been happy to see ticket checking.
Well done you've finally made it. 8-)
I'm staying put in my job now. The CSA role was tempting, as a friend is one and he loves it, but my present salary is much better.
I've update TfL and said I'd be interested in the CSA 2 position.
Wondering if those of us in the same boat would get first dabs on any internal Tube Ops jobs, considering we've done and passed all the assessments, interviews etc ?!
After a long long wait on the list I received this email (in fact I was offered the job in Dec 17 after applying in March 17 !!)
During 2018-2019 you applied for the role of Night Tube Train Operator and have been waiting to be called into training. The Covid-19 pandemic meant that for over a...
I'm not blaming TfL, just stating what's happened, plus it's worked in my favour as I'd be furloughed now, instead of earning very good money
Holiday was booked and paid for to Austraila and only 2 months away at the time.
We'll see what happens next year if they open the night tube again.
Almost 3 yrs since I was offered the job, 2 medicals and 1 pandemic later i'm wondering if it will ever happen !!
Got a phone call after almost a year asking if I could start at short notice which I couldn't, had a 2nd medical for an around March 2020 start and couldn't take it as had holiday...
I've been on waiting list since Dec 2017, not expecting to hear anything for a long time, night tube ain't running and it'll be a very long time until it does :'(
Glad I didn't wait around on me 3rd job since then increase my salary each time I moved so worked out OK !
If they do ever call...
Sorry to hear that, being at a station if it's busy at now won't be much fun :frown:
I've not heard back from TfL since December when I said I couldn't start training in March due to an April holiday.
Now I'm on 2yrs 4months since being offered the job, maybe they've removed me from the list...
I did it about 2.5yrs ago but it was about 36 questions, I recommend doing them in reverse. I found it took too long to read the questions so didn't after the first one !
