I'm also through to the telephone interviews. I've never done a telephone interview before, so rather than starting a new thread can anyone point me in the direction of a good resource for telephone interviews with First? I work for the Border Force in Calais and spend my days chasing illegals...
That's where I'm up to and not heard anything since and not really expecting to for a while.
Does anyone know if what is likely to be the next step if successful so far?

I wonder if this would have the same appeal as jobs on the national network.
Sounds like a fun job, but crap money for the work involved.
Somehow I managed to get to a computer and do the 2nd phase test, the 'Checking Test', before my 48hrs was up. I passed it and now have been invited to do the next online assessment before the 22nd. Does anybody know what this next test is?
I have tried twice yesterday and twice today to complete the 2nd assessment (that they give you 48hrs to complete) and each time I have got an error code (5120) and a message to contact customer support. I've contacted the customer support line and they send an automated reply saying they will...
I've just opened the link to the assessment I have to complete within 48hrs. It is called 'Checking Test'. From the example question t looks like a series of letters, then 5 to choose from opposite. In a short space of time you have to choose which one is correct. Has anyone seen this test...
Closed?? WOW, I think they only went on yesterday afternoon. I must have been lucky and say the advert straight away and got my app in for Manchester.
I've just received an email saying I have to complete an online assessment within 48hrs. Does anyone know if this is the bloody verbal reasoning...
Further to my post above saying I had been invited to the assessment centre but couldn't attend. I also have just received an email from DBS saying the invite was a mistake and that I am not invited to the assessment centre. Luckily, as I couldn't attend this doesn't come as much as a blow to...
Well, I'm not sure joy is the right word. I've got through the sift for the first time ever and been invited to the assessment centre, but I'm unable to attend. I'd already been asked and accepted a weeks over time this week in France. If I'd known what was around the corner then I would never...
Bloody hell, don't say things like that. I also had a missed call from an unknown number yesterday. I've stopped answering them as I'm sick of the automated voice telling me I'm due a PPi rebate or some crap.
I applied for Hither Green (down south) and have heard 'diddly squat'. It should be pointed out again that in the conformation of recipt of application email DBS said "it could be many months before you hear from us". Now to me that means I might have to wait upto 11 months before I hear...
