Son inadvertently purchased child ticket

Yesterday my 18 year old son inadvertently purchased a child ticket from the ticket machine at Wokingham to travel to Reading. He didn't even realise he'd done it. He purchased a single as he was being picked up by me on this occasion, whereas he normally purchases a return, so was expecting...
