    Greater Anglia Rolling Stock Updates

That's interesting to hear... I'd be interested to know once you've done your training etc on the new ones what you think of them compared to the old? Have you heard anything about GA keeping 2 90's and 2 spare sets once the new stock is here... That's what I got told from them but I just...

    Greater Anglia Rolling Stock Updates

Yes that's true it's very interesting how things have happened over the years. But I don't know maybe it's just me I feel like these new trains won't be as solid if you know what I mean for example the MK3 coaches, when you travel on them you get that very satisfying bang when the door is...

    Greater Anglia Rolling Stock Updates

Oh wow that's so cool I'd absolutely love to drive a class 90 or any train to be honest that's my dream job! Sadly being 17 that isn't gonna happen just yet... Which is your favourite class 90 out of all you've driven if you had to pick one? You see I am very attached to these trains for...

    Greater Anglia Rolling Stock Updates

I know... I'm just bias I like old stuff... I've seen the class 90's literally everyday pretty much out of Norwich and I'm one of those people who don't wanna see them go! What would you compare and consider better than a 'life expired mk3'?? Just you wait I bet that as soon as these...

    Greater Anglia Rolling Stock Updates

Exactly the MK3 coaches are great nothing is gonna ever be able to replace them with their comfort and solid build. The class 90 is my number one favourite loco so it doesn't bother me in the slightest if the wheels spin and the fact that they can be a bit jerky especially when pushing!

    Greater Anglia Rolling Stock Updates

Interesting that... I found when chatting to a driver the other day that 90008 and 90005 are the quickest.

Oh that's good to hear where did you find that out? Is there a until date...?

    Greater Anglia Rolling Stock Updates

Yes exactly lots of people do like them!! Including the drivers I've spoken to of which 100% of them are against the new trains! The good old "they don't build them like they used to" comes into use here. You won't get a more solid comfy good all round train compared to the GA class 90 MK3...

    Greater Anglia Rolling Stock Updates

The only thing that confuses me is the old slam doors I thought they'd have to be changed by next year for this to happen unless there's some exception? I've searched about to try and find some info but I can't see anything suggesting any modifications to GA's mk3 coaches...

    Greater Anglia Rolling Stock Updates

I've been wondering if anyone else has been told this... I was in conversation with Greater Anglia a couple of days ago and they informed me ' I have heard that we are likely to retain two Class 90 full Inter City sets including 8 carriages and a DVT on each as spare sets once all new trains are...
