It's incredibly frustrating not to be able to buy a return ticket from e.g. Cambridge that is valid for Thameslink terminals and Liverpool Street. If for example I want to go to Blackfriars but retain the possibility of returning from Liverpool Street I would need to buy a London terminals...

Currently there is an easement (700714) which states "Tickets to/from Cambridge are also valid at Cambridge North and tickets to/from Cambridge North are also valid at Cambridge. This easement covers all tickets, including season tickets, except Advance tickets"

Just curious why I haven't been able to buy a Cambridge to Farringdon ticket online, I am always issued with a Cambridge to City Thameslink ticket instead. I understand that Cambridge to City Thameslink is the same price across all singles/returns, so perhaps a Cambridge to Farringdon ticket...

Regarding a possible OAP parking mishap -
This Renault Clio has a manual transmission (I looked up the reg number), whereas such parking mishaps are almost exclusively confined to automatics when only a single foot is needed to do the damage. So I'd say it was unlikely to be a mistaken pedal...
