    Wigan - Leeds direct trains. Where have they gone ?

    Lack of paths through the Calder Valley due to the Hudderfield block and resulting TPE diverts. 2Ixx running Wigan-Todmorden and 2Zxx running Halifax-Dewsbury-Leeds (interworking with 2Kxx at Halifax).

    Different T&Cs basically - Blackburn under West side T&C's - York and Skipton under the Eastern ones.

    It was definitely mid 90s, but was when Northern Spirit was operating. I'm not sure it survived to the end of the franchise.
