It took ARL almost a year to reject me. By that time I had applied to a different company, passed the assessments, started the job and passed my rules and traction course. Things are slow in our industry but ARL take it to a different level lol.
Good luck to all those still in the running.
So if you already knew, why did you ask?! Lol.
Don't bother reading the reviews. Turn up, enjoy the day and get involved if you want the job. It's no good going into an assessment with a hazy opinion that you've gained from reading online!

Salary isn't great but may be a way in for someone?
Out of interest does this...
Congrats on the job mate! As it turns out as far as I know (apart from my 3 day corporate induction) it'll be at Orpington.

Thanks all, I start in two weeks! And as it goes my training won't be in ashford after all lol!
Looking forward to being part of the elite driving team haha, although I know this is where the hard work starts!!
As for the medical, it's not intense at all. There's a hearing and eyesight...
You should be fine mate. Just be honest and make sure you don't have any alcohol for a couple of days prior!
It's all fairly straightforward and everyone I saw were very nice and professional.
Thanks all! Yes, I should have probably mentioned lol - it's a trainee driver role - so over the moon!!
Akinobis20, thanks mate, but I'm not with GTR, and have had it confirmed training will be in Ashford for me!
Just had it confirmed that I've passed my medical and wanted to say how valuable this forum has been in securing a place on a course as a trainee driver - a real wealth of knowledge!
There are some great guys and girls on this forum, and you've been instrumental in helping me achieve this...
Thanks very much RBSN an Tomnick, for your replies! Medical coming up so hoping that goes well so I'll know for sure that I'm in. My (potential) TOC are aware of the situation and have been incredibly helpful, as has everyone on here!
Thanks again
Hi mate,
All signed off at home lol, having waited for this opportunity for so long it's something we both believe I can't pass up!
I'll drop you a line over the next couple of days if that's ok?
Thanks again for your help
