    Yes I've seen the videos of the casting/ thermite welding, it all looks very interesting. My only issue really is how much it pays? (As it didn't say) and I'll have a 35 mile commute.

    Thanks for the replys. How do the shifts work 4 on 4 off? Are they rotating? Is there potential to develop your career? What's the money like? I would like to do it, it's just a commute 30 mile commute.
