Correction, these have been removed very recently (apart from at Thornton Heath on the down slow, but there is an access-way between the track and a yard behind the platform in the newly built bit). john

The extension bits are still cordoned off on almost all extended platforms as far as selhurst and beyond via west croydon. Most look like they are completed really. john

One time I took the last train from Waterlooville to Waterloo on a Saturday and all the toilets were bust and the guard arranged that the toilets at Woking would be available (and hold the train) for people to use them. Was a good example of what can be done (but probably often isn't). john

Got to be better than rubbing knees with the person opposite on the 456's.. Be glad to see the back of those uncomfortable things since I tend to end up on one at least once a day. john

Unfortunately not on the gold card. Would be nice, but work is paying for the season ticket and will only do it monthly. I have a network card for a pound but it's not as useful here obviously :( john
