Correction, these have been removed very recently (apart from at Thornton Heath on the down slow, but there is an access-way between the track and a yard behind the platform in the newly built bit).

The extension bits are still cordoned off on almost all extended platforms as far as selhurst and beyond via west croydon. Most look like they are completed really.

One time I took the last train from Waterlooville to Waterloo on a Saturday and all the toilets were bust and the guard arranged that the toilets at Woking would be available (and hold the train) for people to use them. Was a good example of what can be done (but probably often isn't).

Got to be better than rubbing knees with the person opposite on the 456's.. Be glad to see the back of those uncomfortable things since I tend to end up on one at least once a day.

Unfortunately not on the gold card. Would be nice, but work is paying for the season ticket and will only do it monthly. I have a network card for a pound but it's not as useful here obviously :(

Thanks. You say 'at the moment', do you know if there are plans for this to be introduced (any time soon)? It does seem like a natural progression for oyster, but I guess it could reduce revenue for the Z3-5 type season tickets where people work out that the only really use a small part of that...
