Drivers have to follow HIDDEN Rules: 1. Can work no more than 12hrs per shift 2. Must have a minimum of 12hrs rest between shifts 3. Can work a max of 72hrs a week. 4. Can work a max of 13 consecutive days with out a rest day.

Yes u can get childcare vouchers while training as you are a full time employee. I got £220 a month while training but that has now dropped to £109 as I qualified last October and now earn 1st years drivers monies apparently I’m in the higher earning bracket so it drops..in 5mnths I’m on full...

I passed out in October and on a recent unannounced ride out with my manager last week..he told me due to predicted retirement numbers they are looking to recruit 38drivers a year for the next 3yrs..so looks like there will b plenty of recruiting to cum..

Received a fone call today and a email, was offered a position pending a medical and ref. But as I have already started driver training with another TOC. Had to politely decline. But that does mean things are moving agian for you guys. So just keep listening for that fone n keep checking those...

Ow so courses mix then with different depots, because I start 20th march but I'm from NXG depot. Interesting.

I got told May at the interview too but when I got the offer it was changed to March. Which was far better lol..I'm NGX too

Had medical on Tuesday, got phone call on Friday and received contract Saturday morning. The HR team at Arriva Rail London are really top notch. Everything was smooth, easy and simple. Let me know which depot you have been put into maybe we start on the same course, my dates 20/3

Theking are you by any chance starting at new cross gate on 20th march? On the info you require someone has posted all the details on an older thread will see if I can find it again. My start dates the 20th march but no1 else has mentioned any dates on here.
