Hi Julie, Which location have you applied for? The reason I ask is they are turning people away who have passed the assessments in some cases due to being oversubscribed so it seems strange they are still interviewing.

The training is at Huddersfield, TPE conference facility called the Hub, at Huddersfield train station.

What I wonder is how many people are applying to be a Train Driver for the right reasons and of the numerous people visiting the forum who is suitable. I hazard a guess that a lot of applications that go in at the moment are people thinking 'I am going to get £40 grand a year to drive a train.'...

If you are failing (or narrowly passing) on the Reactions test does that indicate that maybe you aren't cut out for a Driving job? Probably better to realise that now than once you are in the job.

Interesting . . . I have just completed a course in how to command a Nuclear Submarine as I was hoping my local Bus Company would see the benefit in taking me on as a Trainee Bus Driver and this would make my application stand out :shock: :rolleyes:
