Interesting one today. Currently travelling from Coventry to Reading. 1626 was cancelled south of Birmingham, so the 1726 was suitably rammed. Declassified first, people wedged up against doors etc. Managed to squeeze into carriage A. Then lo’! The train manager piped up after leaving Coventry...

100% agree with this. In Switzerland, leaving rubbish behind for someone else to clear up is a huge no-no (as it should be IMO), but over here in good ol' Blighty, passengers will leave their crap everywhere and it's down to the station cleaners to sort.
