They did my U.S Visa return from the Embassy a few years ago. Assume they still do.

It did help that both Sky News and the Telegraph breaking news alerts beat the government alert by about 45 seconds, so I could warn everyone in the pub beer garden what was about to happen :lol:

Just going back to the air con situation on route 17 -- I was chatting to a friend of a friend yesterday who's a driver for Reading Buses. He said on the 17s, the air con is only turned on on the upper deck, and the downstairs kit is switched off across the fleet. I'm heading over to Tilehurst...

My old next door neighbour, Bob, is a local legend. He's 92. Born and bred in Coventry. He was only six when the blitz struck Cov. His older sister jumped on top of him as the bombs rained down. She surrendered her life that day protecting him. Some of his tales of WW2 Coventry are incredible...

Wasn't there a case not so long ago, where a bloke on a stranded train was forced to soil himself (pee), because there was a police officer on board and he'd have been arrested for public indecency if he'd have got his fella out in public and peed in the corner?

I do Reading <> Coventry on a semi-regular basis. I'd say that nine times out of ten, the XC formation displayed is correct, but it does have its moments and gets it wrong from time to time. Given the number of reversals in service I guess it's to be expected, but I've often done the gentle jog...
