Transport for Wales - Trainee Train Drivers

Same. The cynic in me says they're waiting for the previous batch of applicants to finish the process before they know how many vacancies they still have. 1763059918 Just got my rejection email.

Transport for Wales - Trainee Train Drivers

Has anyone heard anything from the job adverts that closed almost 2 weeks ago?

I'm being fined for buying a house mate a ticket

I know on some TOCs devices it shows when/where the ticket was scanned, and how many times.

    Disruptive Passengers Procedure.

I think it depends on the scenario. If there's a safety risk/risk to passengers of moving the train with said people on board, I'd be quite happy to delay the train, especially if at a manned station.

    Penalty Notice

You could have bought the ticket, you just couldn't have bought the advance ticket.

Borderlands line: alternatives to class 230 operation and any other strategies to improve reliability?

Borderlands line: alternatives to class 230 operation and any other strategies to improve reliability?

Travelled on my first 230 yesterday - whilst I quite like the interior, and think there's been more consideration given than the 197s, the bulk of the time lost seemed to be around Buckley (still no provision for the crawling pace it must do there) and from Shotton to Bidston - it seemed to lose...

CAF class 197 Civity for TfW: News and updates on introduction.

Sorry to hijack, but the toilets on the 197s keep failing. What legislation/aspect of the franchise agreement covers accessible toilets (I vaguely remember them not being required, but also that on shorter journeys it's definitely allowed?)?

Class 230 units training/introduction on the Borderlands line: updates

I don't know if 006 is the one that's been cannibalised? My main concern with the 230s is that whilst the theory/interiors are sound, especially compared to 150s, is the amount of money that's been thrown at the project - tens of millions is what I've heard (including training etc). It just...
