Bristol Brabazon first appears on RTT on 13th December which I think is when the timetable changes. Given that an autumn opening date is mentioned in the various official website, how will a service be provided if the timetable doesn’t change until the winter? I think of December as winter.
Does banking still happen in the UK?
If so, how does the rear driver / engine communicate with the front driver / engine? Is the rear engine attached to the train or loose?
Thanks in anticipation
I’ve still not been on a refurbished Voyager, have they done anything to improve mobile / GPS reception? I was led to believe the previous poor reception was caused by the metallic solar glazing film on the windows.
From looking at RTT for a late December date it looks like we can now see the revised timetable to allow for Bristol Brabazon. It looks like there are some earlier services, a much later finish, different clock face departures but still hourly for now...
The station has been open for a while and when I use it to or from Bristol Temple Meads, there are usually around 10 other people getting on or off so there’s clearly some demand for it.
However, the last trains are pretty early (2015 from Bristol Temple Meads and 2051 to Bristol Temple Meads)...
Hallen Marsh (just from looking at Traksy)? Will there be time for this extra movement in the existing 1tph timing or will it need more trains on the service? Do you have any idea whether 2tph might be on the cards at this point?
