Well it took over 20 mins yesterday to get from M8 to the bus station on the X44. The X11 is well established and more than one bus per hour so is better equipped to cope with the disruption to the timetable.

It’s not being helped with the roadworks in Glasgow causing late running up to 30 mins on some journeys and daily cancellations. If a new service is unreliable (which is not First’s fault) people will not use it.

It passes my door about 2 miles from the start of the route. Most I’ve seen on ones heading towards Glasgow is 5 people, ones passing on way to Newarthill one or two people. A mate got one into town this morning and said there was 17 people on it by Glasgow. I don’t think it really competes...
