I’m sure 334013 had an explosion of some kind. Remember reading about a very loud explosion at Yorker which was heard over quite a distance away. I will see if I can dig up any more details.
Edited to add. Capacitor exploded overnight 18/19th October 2024 which blew a door off.

Well it took over 20 mins yesterday to get from M8 to the bus station on the X44. The X11 is well established and more than one bus per hour so is better equipped to cope with the disruption to the timetable.
It’s not being helped with the roadworks in Glasgow causing late running up to 30 mins on some journeys and daily cancellations. If a new service is unreliable (which is not First’s fault) people will not use it.
Did an X44 into and out of Glasgow today from Bellshill. Roadworks in town badly affecting reliability and one service inbound was cancelled. About 14 passengers on way in and 15 on way back. Can’t see it paying if they continue to use deckers as it is interworked with the X11. Maybe needs to be...
It passes my door about 2 miles from the start of the route. Most I’ve seen on ones heading towards Glasgow is 5 people, ones passing on way to Newarthill one or two people. A mate got one into town this morning and said there was 17 people on it by Glasgow.
I don’t think it really competes...
