Well i used this ticket, and i was advised that the only valid route was to use a local bus service to Ebbsfleet (the conductor didnt say where from). Surely if this was the case then i'd only be able to be sold a ticket to the station where i'd have to get a bus from?
Has anyone got a link to the national rail routeing guide, or would they be able to verify for me that the journey
Rainham Kent to Ebbsfleet via Bromley south and St Pancras be valid.
I'm only going to use this ticket to STP to avoid any trouble
Just checked this ticket out again and it says:
ROUTE OF TICKET ANY PERMITTED - Travel is allowed by any route option shown by the Journey Planner
This fare is only valid on trains travelling between certain times. (Is this off-peak like i selected or is it more specific.

I have just done a check for trains from Rainham to Ebbsfleet, it gives this routing:
Rainham to Bromley South
Bromley South to St Pancras then
St Pancras to Ebbsfleet International

Does starting this earlier mean they will cut their services sooner?
I knew the last train leaves CX at 00:14 so i turned up on time, the person didnt say anything about a connecting train just that there was no further trains to Gillingham.
But it is £7 worth fighting for if the staff are very ill informed that they palm customers off with false information.
Luckily i was able to stay at a friends, how do i go about claiming this money back. Looking through the southeastern website its hard to find out what to do.
I had a zone 1-6 travel card with a boundary zone 6 single to Gillingham, i arrived at Charing Cross station for the last train to Gillingham however i was told the train only went to Slade Green and i had missed the last Gillingham train.
However it now turns out that the train did indeed...
