Not too busy.. the VEP always seemed quite full, the sprinter was sparse, the Mk 1's had enough seating across the timetable
I envisage tomorrow will be well attended even with the current heatwave.
Very decent day at the MHR gala.. a rescheduled timetable sadly without 31128 working.
For those going tomorrow and Sunday , beware of the MK1 inferno baking stock, truly intense heat most of the day.
Good to have 66613 making an appearance.
I'm glad 31120 is cleared up... I thought this was a phoenix from the flame/heat resurrection.
So are we saying both 31210 and 128 will not be attending tomorrow?
The Friday looks a bit flat if 50027 isn't running and a wobbling 31210 is the only loco visitor on the day. That leaves a depleted home fleet to run the day. The weekend looks better with the 60 and 56 but for those who have planned the Friday visit it looks a bit disappointing
After spending 4 days at the gala being local, I had mixed views on the event.
The original lineup lacked a bit from previous years and I guess costings and availability played a part. Losing out on the peak then the 58 left a few disappointed especially now with 3 x 33's with 2 being resident...
I'm trying to trace records of what locomotives were stored at March TMD in 1987 . Any members have any insights on this they could assist with?

Great first day... timetable screwed from the first hour with 37706 failing at Corfe, 56090 had issues and 47715 wobbled a bit.
The Swanage staff got the diagrams back on track although not aligning with the timetables.
I thought the format this year worked better taking the NR boundary at...
