Looking to chat to any VTWC drivers, particularly based at Liverpool, that wouldn't mind answering a few questions via PM. Qualified driver looking to move.
Thanks in advance.
My background was food retail management with a couple of years on cruise ships in between! I applied last august and was on a training course in November! Just coming to the end of my driving hours and will hopefully be qualified by the end of October!
Hard work indeed but also a little fun to be had along the way! Providing you put the hours in at home to you should find it more than manageable! Enjoy it all!
Glenn & theageofthetrain........which TOCS did you get in with in the end? I remember chatting to you both as I was at the application stage......massive congratulations for getting though! ;)
Email them and request it is considered!! I had trouble with my system when I tired applying for a vacancy earlier in the year and because the application was completed in full they changed the status to submitted!! It's a long shot but nothing ventured nothing gained right!! ;) good luck!
How accurate it will all be given that the content of the new assessments has been a closely guarded secret I dont know but "how to become" have practice available to purchase!! I wouldn't be surprised if the actual test were completely different though!!
Congratulations!! Out of interest, when did you apply with southern? Providing southern are happy with all tests taken and the results achieved then you shouldn't need to retake them, the exception would be if southern require an element of assessment that GA don't!!
As you've already done...
