For those in the Calder Valley, the slow reversal in Bradford is a running joke, and I think puts people off. If, hypothetically there was an option of a journey via Dewsbury or Interchange with the same journey, I’d bet people would opt for the Dewsbury journey.

Are they still planning on electrifying Stockport to Stalybridge, if so a Euston - midlands - Stockport - Stalybridge - Huddersfield service sounds like fun! Would this be quick than the reverse at Leeds with LNER that never happened? Could even Denton become an East Manchester / M60 parkway!?
Often thought that the TPE units, if 5 car should be “intercity” coaches 1 and 5, with end doors, and then coaches 2, 3 and 4 should be “metro / commuter” with 1/3 & 2/3 wider doors, possibly no tables, more pop-up seats etc.
Twice a week, Shipley to Manchester Vic. ♂️. Direct or cross platform would be bliss. (At the moment of course, Northern is more reliable than TPX, and often half the price.)
