    hmm. Just turned up at Central for my train, then left and went back to work. Weird that what appears to be every Northern service appears to be delayed on their site - even those in yorkshire. Wouldn't have expected impact to be that broad.

    Buckshaw Parkway: Wiring train on the down platform no activity. Up platform wired. Can't see how far it stretches either way.

    yeah, isn't it to do with the reaction of the chemicals in the concrete what means it's exothermic and you need water to chill it while it's curing? saw something on the Hoover Dam where they used liquid/chilled CO2 to make sure it went off right.
