And which is only marginally longer. As someone who had a commute that involved a Moor Street - New Street change this is the way most sensible people do it unless very early or very late at night. I think you can through from about 6:30 until about 22:00.
I also suspect very few will cross over, only a small number have over the years, there's always been somewhat of a block, I understand. It was somewhat of a toxic working environment as well and my other half is much happier now as cabin crew with a leading holiday airline who he's been with...
It is not outsourced to RailGourmet, it is outsourced to a smaller firm who employed staff on minimum wage. My other half used to work for them for a few years. They have always been unprofitable for XC. There was virtually no training and they did not get staff travel perks nor were they part...
You'd be amazed how many people would take a bit of extra time to avoid the hell hole that is Flughafen Rhein-Main. I think Köln-Frankfurt is viable but where do you put the secure platforms?
Yes, but it was close in 1997, 2001, 2005 and 2010 and the LibDems have been second here for over 50 years. Good LibDem candidate I understand and Loder has not impressed. It's not going to be easy, but it's been their main target in Dorset since 2019.

One of the more "successful"...
I go from Birmingham to South Devon 3-4 times a year, catering is absent more often than not and you have to prise sandwiches out of XC, they are never offered. I now make sure I pick up my own food and drink before hand.
Yes and maybe.
Other half is Cabin Crew for a UK airline.
Cabin Crew are paid a basic salary which isn't a lot. They then get flight pay on top of that - which is an hourly rate. Other half gets about 4.85 a hour (more if he's acting as purser) this applies from time booked on to booked off...
Indeed and lounge dragons as well, there used to be a very special one at one of the Munich lounges who seemed to think that the ideal situation was no-one in her lounge and started claiming cards were "damaged" or "fake" - she sometimes cut then up. One day, she disappeared never to be seen...
Would certainly consder Nürnberg and Würzburg both of which are charming and good places to stop over, but I would also consider historic Bamberg.
Aschaffenburg was a bit of a nothingburger when I visited.
I was commuting back to Brum from Crewe today and LNR/WMT were pretty craven from the offset cancelling several services south from Crewe immediately including the one over the Stoke wobble which carries a fair bit of local traffic. I got on the 17:01 to New Street and we went forward to Wolves...
I've just come back from a week in the Rhine Gorge, where I managed to take around 30 different trains during the course of it including Avanti and Eurostar. On board ticket checks were four in number, the two Avanti trips, from Mannheim Hbf to Mainz Hbf and from Koblenz Hbf to Sankt Goarhausen...
That's about all you get in 1st on XC a lot of the time. In my experience any food is kept hidden away and not offered unless you ask for it, some biscuits and crisps may be offered if you are lucky. Sometimes you get nothing at all and sometimes just one pass of the trolley from Birmingham to...
It's the Stratford Line, WMT really don't care about it, its an hourly service by that time in the evening, so the next train will have been an hour later.
A few weeks ago there was a Monday when there was a three hour gap in any train going through Whitlocks End, but the Dorridge/Leamington...
Always takes the brunt of Snow Hill line cuts. Last week, there was a reduced service on the monday with three hour gaps on the Whitlocks at times but Dorridge managed to keep an hourly service.
