It's very rare that I use the Buses, the only times that I'm on the Buses is for to get to volunteering work at Midland Railway Butterley and places where I can't access by Train but other than that I just use the Train from Spondon even if I'm just going into Derby City Centre

The Bus fare from Chaddesden/Spondon to Derby return is £6.00 and the Train fare from Spondon to Derby return is £4.40, that is cheaper than the Bus

Matlock Trains used to go direct to Newark but not anymore

I bet the direct Cleethorpes to Matlock won't go down well, why can't they keep as Nottingham to Matlock?

Well Spondon has reduced stops and Attenborough has reduced services from and to Derby, Passengers have to change at Derby for Nottingham when coming from Matlock, Matlock Bath, Cromford, Whatstandwell, Ambergate, Belper or Duffield, the connection at Derby isn't very good, people have to wait...

This temporary timetable cannot keep going on for a year or more, it is either they bring back the direct Matlock to Nottingham service 7 days a week or something else will have to be re arranged
