    FGW 'West' Operational Fleet

    Have FGW got rid of... 158747,158751,158815,158816,158817,158864-872? They're just becoming a joke if they have! This means 153s etc... on Portsmouth-Cardiff I don't think people will be too happy! I must say i do like the new livery though... 158798 is going to look fab!

    Are 158s hellfire?

    I see and hear 158s all the time, there ain't nothing wrong with them really, however i wouldn't say their Hellfire just yet! FGW are getting rid of their 158s for 142s and 150s!, What on Earth are they doing! 158s are more comfortable, more seats, nicer to look at and also have a decent...

    FGW Loco Hauled Taunton-Bristol-Cardiff (Dec/Jan)

    yeah, i heard they were cancelled, Apparently due to FGW having enough units to cope, (well thats a load of rubbish concidering a 153 was on a Cardiff-Portsmouth the otherday). I think it's going to be the Silverlink 150s and 142s that are on the Taunton-Cardiff now
