A tip for re Railcards and mostly at the elderly generation. If you use NHS hearing aids you can apply for a Disabled Person's Railcard which has no Minimum Fare restriction and a Companion travelling with you gets the discount too. Can be much better than the Senior Person's Railcard.

A good result I'd say!!!

Search out Council Tax bills and Utility bills for the Mauldeth Road address and send them on to the company to see if that helps. Not that you should have to prove yourself!!

Apart from Clitheroe a Day Rover from WYPTE would be far cheaper but only valid off peak.

A delay repay return ticket on Northern I often use for Nottingham to Whitby return!!! Can't think of any other journeys getting as much use out of it!!!

Whenever I do a delay repay from Northern I always ask for the free ticket option instead of ££

So was your ticket for LNER and hence you'd be claiming delay repay from them?

Is it a requirement to carry ID and provide it with these comp Delay Repay tickets then? Or simply be of the same gender of the person named on the ticket?

Please could someone post the link when they know of it to book tickets unless it will just be on the normal Northern Rail online ticketing site.
