Hello, as other people have answered, you should be ok in Off Track and Pway if colourblind. You can definitely hold PTS so don’t worry about that. My old off track team leader was colourblind. However as somebody said it’s a bar from joining S&T or any other job working with signalling equipment.
Fair enough man understandable, it’s hard one to get around this cause you don’t know roughly when the next date will be. If you can’t have a flexi day or that then maybe just bite the bullet and ask for another date. It’ll happen just a question of when I suppose.
All due respect drivers don’t care about people waiting to start training.
It’s all a moot point unless it’s voted through anyway.
I know a lot at my depot who are outright against Sunday being brought into the working week. They’re scared of losing their long weekends and losing their extra...

Practical wise for yourself as an external, I don’t really know what they could have you doing. As you don’t have any experience with S&T equipment. I do know...
It's a campaign for a talent bank, ScotRail are under no obligations to give anyone a job in there. Plus the majority of applicants will probably fail at some stage of the process. Honestly if you think this is bad have a look at the Avanti threads. Can never have enough people lined due to...

Major shortage of Di’s at the moment. I know of a few people at central who finished at atrium court in early January still without one and there’s another intake behind them.
I’d imagine you would need to apply again and that would involve doing the online tests again. If you have passed the actual train drivers assessments then they wouldn’t need to be set again.
I had failed the DMI the first time of asking and then had to reapply (pass the sift) and went...
