Do you have any advice of best way to buy tickets from Preston to London?
I did see the option to buy a travel card but wasn’t sure if it would be cheaper to just use my bank card to tap so did that as only going a few stops. Trains to St Pancras were not available yesterday due to strikes I guess. I just bought a ticket from St Pancras to Market Harborough advance...
OK I was going to go to St Pancras from Victoria so don’t need to go there, could I just get off at London Bridge and discard my ticket then get the underground?

I panicked and got off at Gatwick as a train to Victoria was arriving from the same platform 5 minutes later
Hi I’m on a train going from Brighton to London Bridge but my ticket is to London Victoria. Can I get off at London Bridge and come down to Victoria from there according to regulations or do I have to change at East Croydon? My ticket is valid via any permitted route. Can’t find a train...
I would want a same day return with my husband using two together railcard.

I could potentially have up to 15 people travelling from Nottingham (depending on whether some people choose to travel form London or whether they come back to Nottingham the night before and then travel with the group from Nottingham). Does this make a difference?
OK, I was just concerned because I can't see any cheap advance fares for any weekend in April or May either. So I didn't know if they no longer exist and it's just these fixed £64 return fares that are the only possible option no matter when you travel.
I'm travelling Saturday and returning Sunday without fixed times, would like to arrive in Liverpool by around 2:30pm and leave Sunday after around 10am but flexible depending on costs. I also don't know if it's possible to get a group save. There will be 9 of us.
