ARL most likely give you a sooner start date tbh , better pay at ARL and I personally think ARL Is a good start in terms of you only drive 5 car formation no coupling and uncoupling trains no faffing around from 4 to 8/10 car only drive one train 378 unless your NL where you drive 710 that’s...

Yes thankfully , but as blackkat mentioned once you pass the sift the process picks up from stage 1/2 ,DMI , medical and start date tbh I don’t know how people wait months and years in talent pools

Yeah lol they do enjoy company from trainees but it’s frustrating for trainees I’ve been through it having no driving instructor and front ending for weeks on weeks gets frustrating I’m pretty sure it happens at every TOC

Yep, Once they contact you for stage 1 everything speeds up really it’s just the initial waiting period when you apply

That’s not the case took about 6 months before I got a reply back on my application once I had completed the tests and DMI to job offer and start date the overall process was 10 months
