    Should Whelan Resign?

    Very difficult situation - Whelan appears to be trying to resolve issues - commendable and welcomed by the thousands of serious disgruntled Southern users, but at what cost to him and ASLEF? More needed from GTR here I think - what would be wrong with the Guard being maintained to close doors...

    Trespass on the Railways

    Do the trespassers, if apprehended, ever actually get hit with the fine (£1000) for being on the line? I'd imagine the cost to the railway industry could be many times that on some occasions. Harvey
