You are obviously aware that your card is not always accepted everywhere, so it would be wise not to board a train without a ticket, not for the sake of £2 odd. I'm on a website called "stoozing dot com" I still hold a electron/visa card so I know all about them. (Used for Ryanair flights...

Unfortunately its not a true visa debit card & there will be occasions where it won't be accepted, which bank or arm is it issued from? --- old post above --- --- new post below --- Don't be surprised there can be differences, pre pay credit cards also have some problems.

Basingstoke was around £8 for a single Estar CIV, that was an advanced/off peak ticket. That Fare has gone from BRfares now.

They do but generally its rare, the early you book its pretty much always cheaper.

Stagecoach in Hampshire are running today, albeit a Sunday service, Sunday 27th is running as is Monday as well. They wouldn't want to lose money :-x
