I was aware of X25 change and Cumbernauld depot closure but was unaware of impact on X19. I've already seen quite a few single deck "Borders Buses" X19s running around this week.
But only commenting to share an experience from this afternoon to highlight that there is areal impact on passengers...
Not sure if this is something that has been posted about already; I couldn't find anything via the search. Apologies if already discussed elsewhere.
There has been a growing campaign for "re-regulation" of the buses in the Greater Glasgow / legacy-Strathclyde area and it has gained a bit of...
Out of interest, would you happen to know any previous First Glasgow Christmas Day service patterns? I have a strong recollection of there being a skeleton service with at least the 36 and 61 running on Christmas Day sometime around 2007/8 but I have never been able to find any evidence of it...
Depending on which local authority issues the pass. Not all local authorities offer a rail travel discount for "non-disabled" issued entitlement cards and the discount and options offered varies wildly between areas for the ones that do.
The 09:30 EDB - GLQ and the 15:30 GLQ - EDB will be a seven car 380 for sure. There will be more 380s at various times.

The Bike&Go Abellio scheme is separate and distinct from the nextbike/Council schemes in Glasgow and Stirling.

The ferry announcement on some sets is an error. When they updated some of the sets to have the tram announcements it seems to have knocked something out of whack. Others include: "Change for Breich" at Croy; "change for Carrbridge" at Falkirk High; "Change for Corrour" at Anniesland
Just back from Germany travelling using FIP facilities.
Told by two friendly DB staff in different ticket offices that you cannot use FIP tickets or coupons to travel on wholly Verkersverbund priced tickets. But using ICE/IC/EC is perfectly fine either wholly within one area or between areas...
This might be useful in general for zone queries:
Some stations are classed as being in two zones so can be counted as either.
Anderston/Argyle Street/Charing X/Central/Queen St/High St are classed as G1/G2
Bowling is D1/D2
Burnside is G4/G5
Cathcart/Croftfoot/Pollockshaws East/Langside/Kings...
You only need to purchase the zones for which your journey travels through.
If you don't pass through a zone at any point on your journey you don't need it.
The zones you purchase must be continuous; there can't be a gap between them.
Not sure if this is the bet place for this but feel free to move.
Just got off the sleeper earlier this morning at Glasgow Central and was approached by someone on the platform asking to see my ticket.
She then explained that she and a colleague had been employed by Virgin to check to see how...
