Had my interview and was about a week later I got confirmation I had passed the interview and been successful. I wasn't put on a pool as I was one of the first two that got the first vacancies and slots on training school, so was a couple of weeks for a medical then a month notice at my last...
Normally the way I believe it works is they collate the results/scores from your online assessments and your interview responses and put you in a talent pool list. Where you are on that list will depend on your score (higher scores will be at the top of this list so will be offered vacancies...
Just been looking into this myself as just found my Bite card and wondered if it still works. The website on the back of the card just auto-redirects you to the SSP website with no reference or knowledge of the BITE card anywhere on their site.
After a bit more digging I found the following...
I'm going through the process just now. Ive had 2 sets of online tests - the initial SJT one then a week or 2 later I had 3 more to do that the invites were all sent for on the same day (sent by SHL). I'm.not disclosing what was in the tests as I had to sign a thing to say I wouldn't disclose...
The interview invites are going out but it probably depends which depot you applied for. They probably do them in batches too so probably don't invite everyone all at once as I only had 2 days to choose from. I had my invite for Dundee yesterday. There's a few I know who had invites for...
Hi folks I've had a good look through the previous messages but I can't see a conversation on this so apologies of this is a duplicate query.
I applied for ScotRail conductors recently. I have already passed the first stage of online assessments (SJT) but I have now been asked to complete two...
Yes thanks hoping I get the information I need (and that the internet hasn't lied to me!). Have you got an interview too or are you still waiting to hear?
1pm was only slot available so had to take it unless I wanted to look later in August (which I didn't!). And yes its With Raymond and one other as far as I know. Fingers crossed just spending all my spare time trying to find out as much as I can! Sifting through what is massively out of...
Just come on here to check the progress of other people. I applied for March 24 vacancy (Scotland wide) had an email in May advising I had passed all the online stuff and that they will be in touch in the future (no date). Not heard anything since.
Not being funny but there’s plenty of info online and within this rail forum site about this if you can be bothered to look for it.
It’s unlikely anyone who has been through this before and knows what it involves will give you this information on this thread as quite frankly you’re the...
I have just done my online SJT for Scotrail. I am not giving out the questions I was asked but I can say the questions were different to the last SJT I did for DRS (they are specific to the company/role you have applied to). This is probably why they get you do to them again so that you do...
depends how long ago you took them (and also on the company preference). In theory test results are valid for 5 years but realistically most TOCs only count them for 2 years (and some will just make you sit them again anyway regardless of whether you passed them recently!)
I got news for you….its not the final test it’s just the final online test!
If you pass this there will still be likely 2 days you have to go to in person assessments/interviews and that’s where the hard stuff begins!
Ive passed everything for GWR a number of years ago then they shut the talent pool due to lack of vacancies grrrrr! Basically your pass scores are supposed to be valid for 5 years on the system, however in reality I have been told that most TOCs will only consider pass marks as valid for 2...
