I was definitely told that I'd receive a "penalty fare notice" in the post and that it would be for £20. I've a feeling that settlement of this matter will now cost me far more than that but it's a fair cop. Hopefully they'll allow me to make a payment for the fare + costs and be done with it.

I received, what looks like, a standard intention to prosecute letter from FCC this morning.
It was given for failing to produce a ticket for my journey which is correct. I rushed on to the train and didn't have a ticket so I don't dispute that.
