The 4A timetable on bustimes looks to be slightly glitchy, showing what I’d assume was an initially planned timetable for the Botley Road reopening - running to the JR via Marston Ferry as the 14 currently does, instead of Risinghurst as now planned.

More details from the Oxford Mail (LINK), also confirming tender losses for the 29/H5, 25 and 14 to Risinghurst. Key changes seem to be: - S1/S1A to run every 15 minutes between Oxford and Witney via Botley Road, with S1 continuing to Carterton and S1A serving Downs Road Industrial Estate...

Agreed - but the time penalty of going via the Airport adds almost as long as waiting for the next service (even south of Alderley), and connecting at Wilmslow gets you to Central Manchester faster than staying via the Airport would. With pathing constraints between Alderley and Crewe there...

Just wondering if anyone had information on some specific off-peak frequencies of services? I've tried looking through the Wayback Machine, but ideally looking for detail more than 'at least every 10 minutes' for the following routes and years - particularly for route 22 which I think I'm right...

It was road closures (possibly for the uni open day), with the 2, 23, 27 and 35 also on diversion. The diversion was planned at least - signs were up on the relevant stops a couple nights ago for it.

The 12 is always pretty busy on the central section between Haymarket and Cameron Toll from my experience, probably enough to justify an increase - although the numbers past Cameron Toll are usually pretty low. Agreed with the capacity issues on weekends though, especially in good weather buses...

Didn't some say that Arran was a mistype, with these buses intended for Arbroath?
