Trivia: Examples of local authority areas that border each other but have no bus routes crossing the border.

Used to be two buses a week on Saturdays only between Tyndrum and Stirling (number S60)

Northern cancellations Sunday 14th/Monday 15th December due to forecasted rain

Me too - now at half an hour late leaving Penrith, and expected to get more delayed from here.

    Britain's Most Scenic Bus routes

People have already mentioned the 901 Glasgow to Largs, but I'd also throw in a recommendation for the 904 Paisley to Largs, particularly the bit between Kilbirnie and Largs

    SPT Tendered Routes

Honestly, I'm surprised that they thought the Johnstone - Kilmacolm link was important enough to keep, given that between Kilmacolm and Linwood, the only difference between the 1A and the X7 is that the 1A serves Erskinefauld Road

GWR fine for being on train at the wrong time

When you booked the ticket, there will have been multiple prompts that you have to travel on the booked train only. If you've traveled on the wrong train, then the "fine" (to use your word for it) is entirely correct.

South Western Dispute - hoping for court!?

I'd argue Condition 14.2, the right to use split tickets for a journey, invalidates any argument based on not a valid route.

    TfW Request Stop Trial

Valley, Rhosneigr, Ty Croes, Bodorgan and Llanfairpwll all have non-stop trains

    Bee Network Service/Route Discussion

What's the problem with the 42, 42A, 42B and 42C (plus 142) - it's very helpful for people heading to Didsbury Village and Parrs Wood to be able to just look for 42, and then it not mattering what's on the front or end

Glasgow/West of Scotland - SPT ZoneCard

I wonder if they'll take the hard line (no pun intended) on journeys from Neilston to Glasgow - Neilston is shown as being in zone 2, as is Patterton, however the line between the two wanders into zone 5 - the way the boundary there is drawn makes it look deliberate.

Permanent closure of Belfast Great Victoria Street station

Do they do checks at St Pancras after clearing passport control to get onto the platform?

    Trivia: Historically longer bus routes

All TPs seem to run Derby to Buxton, except the first and last on Mondays to Fridays, which run only as far as Matlock (Sorry, hadn't seen post 62 when I wrote this)

Advance tickets. Why do so many ‘&Connections’ require a counted place

So for a journey from, say, Carlisle to Plymouth, which one train do you tie the person to - Carlisle to Birmingham, or Birmingham to Plymouth?

Trivia: Smallest town by population to have more than one station

Burscough has 3 stations - there's also New Lane.
