All 10 have the same interior. Even before the sets were refurbished (with 5 in ex-GW condition and the other 5 in ex-GC / FGW condition) there were very few major interior differences - and no differences between seat layout, seat positioning etc.

I'm not sure that's a prototype. Westbahn have apparently ordered four sets from CRRC in addition to the 15 sets that they've odered from Stadler.

Good shout re the Alex 223's. Also the Leipzig-Chemnitz MRB service runs with 223's, and I think the Hamburg-Cuxhaven service is still loco-hauled also with diesel Traxx locos. There's also the DB 245's replacing / working alongside the 218's.

I think there are still some CD 754 workings in Czech Republic, if that counts.
