    Trivia: Largest town/city without a major bus depot

    Paisley? Bigger than East Kilbride with McGill's depots being in the surrounding towns/villages of Johnstone and Inchinnan.

    Which were the largest settlements in Great Britain never to have had a station on the national rail network?

    Erskine is probably the biggest in Scotland - approx. 15k population but nearest stations are Bishopton or Old Kilpatrick - both much smaller and with OK across the Erskine Bridge! Would Canvey Island count as a town/settlement?

    From my local area, I would suggest.... Paisley St James > Paisley St Mirren (right next to St Mirren's stadium) Paisley Gilmour Street > Paisley Central Paisley Canal > Paisley South Hawkhead > Paisley East Mosspark > Cardonald South (Mosspark, the area is a mile away and has Corkerhill Stn.)...
